Job Description

The recruiting company is Trading Company located in Mayangone Township.

Job Descriptions:

- Handle full sets of accounts including AR/AP, payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for the organization and consolidated entities.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations and adjustments are completed.
- Review journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to align financial processes.
- Preparing financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports for management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including monthly and year-end closing
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Maintain proper accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities on audit, tax, and statutory matters
- Review and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries entered to financial system as supported by documents eg. invoice, receipt, payment voucher, journal
- Support ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirement

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Accounting & Finance or Equivalent
- Proficiency in Written and Spoken English and Burmese
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting & finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Hands-on experience in MS Excel, MS Words and computerized accounting systems
